Our client, a leading energy solutions company, is looking for a BMS Engineer to join their team. As a BMS Engineer you’ll be working on a range of Building Management System (BMS) upgrades and enhancement projects across commercial, education, healthcare, and government sites helping to futureproof buildings and enable smart solutions. If you have strong experience with BMS systems, particularly Trend and enjoy a hands-on role that involves travelling to various sites - apply today!
Key responsibilities for the BMS Engineer:- Installing, configuring, and commissioning BMS components such as sensors, controllers, actuators, and software systems
- Carrying out scheduled maintenance and fault diagnostics on Trend system
- Identifying opportunities for system optimisation and performance improvements
- Helping clients understand and get the most from their systems.
- Quoting for additional work as needed.
- Working on-site across multiple locations - participating in a reactive call-out rota
- Extensive knowledge & experience of BMS / HVAC - Essential
- Knowledge & experience with Trend / Siemens systems - Essential
- Full UK driving licence - Essential
- Ability to read and interpret Electrical & Mechanical schematic diagrams.
- Electrical Qualification (City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ Electrical) - Desirable
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Experience with fault finding in electrical panels
- DBS vetting and potential BPSS vetting
- Excellent written and communication skills
