Our client, a well-established renewable energy supplier, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team and drive new business. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of securing new business opportunities, developing a strong sales pipeline and selling flexible gas and electricity procurement contracts along with additional energy products and solutions. Key responsibilities for the Business Development Manager:

  • Acquire accounts with energy consumption above approximately 25GWh to 100GWh’s
  • Build long-term relationships with customers
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Research new business opportunities - new markets, growth areas, trends etc
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Help to plan sales campaigns
  • Create a target market sales pipeline

Skills and Experience required for the Business Development Manager:

  • Experience in Business Development from B2B energy supply or consultancy
  • Experience in negotiating and selling fixed and flexible energy contracts
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to bring significant value to the business
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication and analytical skills

Homebase (1 day week in London)

Salary: Competitive + bonus
