Our client, a UK-wide Business Energy Consultancy and Procurement Specialist, is looking for a Billing Analyst to join their team and support a portfolio of B2B clients in the Energy and Water sectors.In this role, your key responsibilities will include validating invoices, conducting complex data analysis, handling client queries, managing contract transfers, and resolving complaints to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Key responsibilities:

  • Validate invoices to ensure utility charges match contracts and consumption data.
  • Accurately input billing data and analyse usage to identify discrepancies, trends, or cost-saving opportunities.
  • Address client billing queries with clear explanations and prompt issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Team Manager and Account Managers to resolve client queries
  • Manage client complaints/queries ensuring query resolution procedure is followed
  • Manage the acceptance process and support successful registration of supplies
  • Prepare templated monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting as per the agreed workplan

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience of inputting data and using databases on a day-to-day basis
  • Solid analytical skills to absorb complex data and energy tariffs & legislative requirements
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Good administration skills and attention to detail
  • Competent in Excel (intermediate to advanced level) and competent in MS Word and Outlook
  • Degree level education or equivalent industry experience
