Senior Manager – B2B Insights and Analytics
Our client, a leading green energy supplier, is looking for a Senior Manager – B2B Insights and Analytics to join their team. As the Senior Manager – B2B Insights and Analytics, you will lead the central B2B analytics hub, delivering reporting, analysis, and modelling to drive performance management and support key business decisions. You will also manage critical processes, including broker and internal commission schemes, ensuring accuracy and control. Key responsibilities for the Senior Manager – B2B Insights and Analytics:
- Lead B2B performance insight, reporting, and analysis to support business decisions
- Translate framework requirements into actionable reports and insights, incorporating stakeholder feedback
- Deliver timely ad hoc analysis for projects, regulatory requests, and performance initiatives
- Develop and enhance data tools, reporting platforms, and modelling capabilities with cross‑functional teams
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and integrity across processes
- Manage critical operational processes, including broker commissions and internal performance‑related pay
- Recruit, lead, and develop a team of 4–6 analysts, fostering skills in analytics, technical tools, and stakeholder engagement
Skills and Experience required for the Senior Manager – B2B Insights and Analytics:
- Experience in regulated industries or complex, multi‑stakeholder B2B environments
- Extensive experience leading performance insight, analytics, or data reporting functions
- Strong understanding of agile delivery methods (e.g., sprint planning, backlog management)
- Proven experience in developing and managing reporting frameworks aligned to business performance
- Expertise in data visualisation tools, data modelling, dashboard development, and reporting automation
- Track record in leading and developing analyst teams, including recruitment, coaching, and capability building
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, balancing framework integrity with stakeholder needs
- Knowledge of process controls, particularly regarding commission and incentive scheme processing
- Ability to operate effectively in a changing and ambiguous environment
- Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or equivalent
