Our client, a leading Renewable Energy Supplier for B2B customers, is looking for a Metering Analyst to join their team. You will be the first point of contact for new electricity connections and resolve smart metering enquiries covering NHH, HH, AMR and Smart meter types. To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience across all metering operational processes, along with a solid understanding of the end-to-end metering data flow lifecycle. Key responsibilities:
- Overseeing and resolving all metering and settlement-related enquiries
- Managing and tracking P272 upgrade processes from SSD through to completion
- Preparing various regulatory reports, including Metering GSOP reports
- Ensuring timely exchange of industry data flows in line with regulatory SLAs
- Handling relevant activities within the SDEP (Smart Data Entry Platform) process
- Building effective internal and external relationships to achieve metering targets
- Collaborating with colleagues to optimise cross-functional industry processes
- Maintaining accurate records of all internal and external metering operations
- Engaging with stakeholders to detect, report and manage instances of electricity theft
Skills and experience required:
- Practical operational experience of all metering operational processes
- Working knowledge of energy industry data flows
- Good knowledge of key supplier end-to-end processes (COS, COT, etc.)
- Confident in managing third party MOP/MAP, DCDA, and DNO issues and relationships
- Skilled in data analysis, report generation, and proficient use of Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location: Hybrid – Birmingham (2 days in the office per week)
Salary: £28K (Pro Rata) + company bonus
