The Role
To maintain a clean and hygienic environment, presenting the Venue to the highest possible standards through routine and reactive cleaning in line with the cleaning standards manual. This casual role is for various hours which are event driven and will involve early mornings, weekends, occasional evenings and bank holidays, depending on business needs. You will work as part of a wider team delivering excellence to our customers and ensuring the venue is maintained for future generations to enjoy.
The Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all designated internal and external areas, including toilets, accommodation, and public spaces.
- Carry out routine and deep cleaning duties such as sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, window cleaning, high-level cleaning, and floor maintenance.
- Safely remove waste, graffiti, bodily fluids, sharps, and contaminated items in line with company procedures.
- Operate powered cleaning equipment and complete all required cleaning checks and documentation.
- Ensure personal appearance, hygiene, and uniform meet company standards.
- Work reliably, punctually, and proactively as part of the Domestic team and wider business.
- Promote company values and deliver a positive customer experience at all times.
- Follow all health, safety, and counter-terrorism policies, reporting any concerns, defects, or equipment faults promptly.
- Attend all mandatory training, including health and safety and counter-terrorism training, as required.
- Assist with opening and closing the building when necessary.
- Carry out additional reasonable duties as required by management.
