Utilita Arena Sheffield opened in 1991, is a vibrant multi-purpose venue that hosts world-class concerts, sporting events, and family entertainment. With a capacity of up to 13,600, it is one of the UK's premier indoor arenas, having welcomed legendary acts like Elton John, Arctic Monkeys, and Oasis. The “House of Steel” is also home to the Elite League Grand Slam championship-winning ice hockey team, the Sheffield Steelers. Known for its electric atmosphere and iconic performances, the arena offers an exciting, fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. The Role

The role of the Marketing Executive at Utilita Arena Sheffield is to support all areas for marketing and communications with an emphasis on driving ticket sales, maximising opportunities for the sale of premium products, working with venue partners to fulfil their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To support all areas of marketing, ensuring the delivery of all projects on time and in line with brand guidelines. Including but not limited to Advertising, Social Media, E‑marketing, and Content Management.
  • Creating marketing materials and presentation tools to assist other departments.
  • Produce creative content, including videos for social media and blog posts for websites.
  • To have an understanding of all aspects of the venue operation’s to effectively and efficiently meet the needs of our teams, stakeholders, partners, and promoters.
  • Maintain and building relationships with partners, promoters, agencies, suppliers, and industry contacts.
  • Direct liaisons with ticketing and related partners pre, during and post-event.
  • Regular monitoring of sales, and evaluation of all sales promotions.
  • Ensure that all arena event promoters are assisted with their marketing activity in a timely manner.
  • To effectively help plan and develop further marketing for event promotion.
  • Represent the marketing team at site visits and events as necessary.
  • Provide and promote the highest level of customer service as expected across the business.
  • Ensure that all relevant information is communicated speedily and accurately in a way that ensures that the information is received and easily understood.
  • Undertake any other relevant duties or reasonable requests as requested by the Head of Marketing and any other member of the Senior management team.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Website or content management systems experience.
  • Knowledge of social media trends and Meta Business Suite.
  • Strong digital understanding.
  • Experience in sending emails via an ECRM system.
  • Proficient in the use of Adobe Suite, Canva (or similar products).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
