With a capacity of over 13,000, it stands as one of the region’s premier venues, combining a rich history with a vibrant programme that continues to attract visitors from across the UK.
The Role: As a Casual Kitchen Assistant you will play a key role in supporting the kitchen team by ensuring a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment. You will assist in food preparation, washing dishes, and maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are upheld.
Start Date: We are looking for candidates who are available to start at the beginning of September, with a couple of induction shifts throughout August. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with brand new equipment in a recently upgraded kitchen, supporting an exciting new phase of our food operation.
The Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas, including equipment, utensils, and surfaces.
- Support the kitchen team with food preparation, including basic tasks such as chopping and ingredient prep.
- Ensure all dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitised efficiently.
- Assist with stock deliveries, ensuring items are stored correctly and safely.
- Dispose of kitchen waste safely and maintain a tidy working environment.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Prioritise tasks effectively to support service during busy periods.
