About the Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing & Communications, this role offers an exciting opportunity to support the continued growth and transformation of Olympia Events through the delivery of high-quality marketing activity for both our event organisers and the wider Marketing & Communications team. Acting as a key marketing contact for a portfolio of event organisers, you will work collaboratively with clients to coordinate and deliver marketing support that helps maximise the success of their events at Olympia. This includes managing marketing requests, coordinating website listings, social media content, email marketing opportunities and other promotional activity, while liaising with colleagues across the wider destination to ensure activity is planned, scheduled and delivered effectively. Alongside client account management, you will provide operational and project support to the wider Marketing & Communications team, helping to coordinate campaigns, industry events, partnerships and day-to-day marketing activity. You will play an important role in ensuring marketing projects are delivered efficiently, consistently and in line with Olympia's brand, contributing to the growth of both our clients' events and Olympia's reputation as a world-class events destination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the day-to-day marketing contact for all events happening at Olympia, coordinating marketing support that helps maximise the success of their events.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the wider Olympia destination to schedule event marketing content into the wider calendar.
  • Work with wider partners such as Hammersmith & Fulham Council and other local stakeholders to maximise event visibility for our clients.
  • Manage writing the briefs and coordination of filming alongside our videography agency to produce engaging B2B content of Olympia hosted events.
  • Coordinate Olympia's B2B participation at industry exhibitions and events.
  • Manage Olympia's memberships with industry associations.
  • Manage Olympia's venue listings across key industry websites and directories.
  • Support on the coordination of Legends Global client hospitality tickets.
  • Support the wider Marketing & Communications team with project coordination.
  • Work positively and collaboratively with marketing and communication colleagues across Olympia Estates Services.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing materials.
  • Identify emerging issues of significance in terms of Olympia Events’ reputation.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience working in a marketing events role preferably from an events, conferencing, hospitality, memberships or F&B background.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proven experience in managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work under pressure and navigate fast-paced environments.
  • Highly organised and efficient with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyse situations quickly and respond to those seeking advice/guidance.
  • Ability to present information to a wide range of audiences.
