The Role
The F&B Supervisor supports the Food & Beverage Management Team in delivering high-quality catering, bar and hospitality services across events, conferences and day-to-day operations. The role is responsible for supervising front-line teams, ensuring operational standards, compliance and customer service excellence, while supporting the efficient delivery of food and beverage operations across the venue.
The Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of food and beverage operations across events, conferences, cafés, bars and restaurants, ensuring a consistently high standard of customer service.
- Provide operational supervision and duty management cover, acting as the Bars & Catering Duty Manager when required and supporting the wider management team.
- Lead and support front-line catering teams, acting as a key point of contact for staff and assisting with recruitment, induction, training and ongoing development.
- Coordinate with internal departments and event stakeholders to ensure catering and hospitality requirements are effectively planned and delivered.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, allergen, health and safety and company procedures, ensuring standards are consistently applied across all areas.
- Manage operational controls, including stock ordering and monitoring, cash handling and till reconciliation, while supporting the overall efficiency of the Food & Beverage function.

Experience & Knowledge
- Experience within a food and beverage, hospitality, catering or event operations environment.
- Understanding of bar, catering and hospitality operations within a customer-facing venue.
- Working knowledge of food hygiene, allergen management and health and safety requirements.
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities during busy events.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Confident handling cash, stock management and operational administration.
Desirable
- Previous supervisory experience within a venue, hospitality, catering or events environment.
- Food Hygiene and/or Licensing qualifications.
- Experience working in large-scale event, conference or entertainment venues.
