The Venue: A defining landmark of the Northeast, Utilita Arena Newcastle has welcomed millions of fans since opening in 1995. Purpose built for live entertainment, the arena hosts everything from global music icons to major sporting and business events. With a capacity of 11,000, it stands proudly alongside the region's most iconic sights.

The Role: To assist with the smooth running of the F&B department, working closely with management to deliver a high standard operation. To adhere to all regulatory Health & Safety and Food Hygiene legislation, promoting best practice (HACCP). Organising workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks. Monitoring employee productivity, customer service and providing constructive feedback and coaching.

The Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the smooth running of the F&B department during events, working closely with management to deliver a high standard operation.
  • Motivates, guides, and mentors team members to exceed goals and creates a positive environment during shifts.
  • Trains new team members in company standards, customer service, and job duties.
  • Oversees work quality.
  • Works with management to set and evaluate stock and overall goals.
  • Ensuring compliance with all food hygiene and health and safety legislation and best practice (HACCP).
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company products and services, and offers technical support and information to team members.
  • To ensure all available resources are used to their optimum to ensure a profitable operation.
