The Role
The Goods In Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient receipt, control and distribution of stock across the business. Working closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders and operational teams, you will oversee inventory management, coordinate stock movements and support procurement processes to ensure products are delivered accurately, on time and in line with operational requirements. The Responsibilities
- Manage the goods receiving process, ensuring deliveries are received on time, checked for quality and accurately recorded within the inventory management and procurement systems.
- Maintain accurate stock control by overseeing stock movements, transfer documentation, stocktakes and reporting activities across the operation.
- Support procurement and supply chain activities by liaising with suppliers and operational teams to ensure efficient ordering, product management and stock availability.
- Work closely with stakeholders to promote effective stock rotation, minimise waste and maintain compliance with food safety, health and safety and company standards.
- Provide system support and expertise to colleagues whilst identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, sustainability and cost control across the supply chain.
