About the Role:

The Chef de Partie is responsible for managing their designated section of the kitchen and supporting the Sous Chefs and Head Chef in delivering consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and service. This role involves preparing and cooking dishes to specification, maintaining excellent organisation within their section, and ensuring all food is produced efficiently and to the highest standards. Working as part of the wider kitchen team, the Chef de Partie will ensure compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene standards while contributing to smooth kitchen operations during both restaurant and event services.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Prepare, produce and deliver high-quality menu items, ensuring all dishes are served consistently, efficiently and in line with company standards.
  • Maintain exceptional food safety and kitchen standards, including stock rotation, food storage, hygiene, sanitation and opening/closing procedures.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver an outstanding guest experience and exceed customer expectations.
  • Support menu development and continuous improvement, working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to enhance food offerings and service standards.
  • Contribute to commercial performance, controlling costs, managing budgets, completing operational reporting and identifying opportunities to drive revenue and efficiencies.

You'll Have:

  • Professional culinary training or relevant experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant, club, catering or premium hospitality environment.
  • Strong food and beverage knowledge, with a solid understanding of food preparation, service standards, guest experience and hospitality etiquette.
  • A collaborative, team-focused attitude, with the ability to communicate effectively, build relationships and thrive in a busy service environment.
  • Commercial and operational awareness, including experience with food cost control, stock management and maintaining company standards and procedures.
  • A flexible and safety-focused approach, willing to work evenings, weekends and events while championing health, safety and compliance across the operation.

  • Seek opportunities to reduce waste and improve the sustainability of operations.
