Field Service Technician Permanent £27,000 salary / 40hrs a week (Overtime also available) South East London We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join our client, a leader in intelligent Traffic Equipment, Parking & Stadium Solutions, Electronic Signage and EV Chargers! Theyre looking for a Field Service Technician to be based in South East London, you must have previous experience in a Field based role , you must have experience Installing and maintaining of IT networks, hardware and software.And MUST hold a Full UK driving license . The Field Service Technician will be responsible for connecting, commission and maintaining the parking and access control equipment for the company. This will involve working with IT hardware/software, Network devices, EV charging and other access control devices. Training will be provided on the role for specific products to the company. Field Service Technician Experience & Skills Required: Experience with IT Hardware maintenance, Software install, MS Server, VM and SQL. Experience of PCs, routers and networking environments Experience with operation and maintenance of access devices (Flashing Firmware (LINUX), software configuration, part replacement/repair and the use of hand tools.) Maintain a personal inventory of parts, materials and consumables. Correctly identify and order replacement parts and equipment Ensure that each job activity, its progress and completion status are accurately documented on company systems. Complete customer hardware and software training remotely Field Service Technician Essential Requirements: Full UK driving license is a necessity, please do not apply without a FULL UK License! You must live local, and be happy working in and around South London asthis is field based role. Field Service or commissioning experience Experience with Installing and Maintaining CCTV systems Installation and maintenance of IT hardware and software. Knowledge of network infrastructure and TCP/IP. Knowledge of electrical principles and safety Desired Requirements for Field Service Technician: City & Guilds; ONC /HNC; BTec or equivalent in a relevant field. Electrical/Mechanical including hard wiring of switching relays COMPTIA + ANPR installation and maintenance knowledge. Parking Access Equipment installation and maintenance. EV Charging.
