The role focuses on maintaining high standards across a large pool of trainers and ensuring that every participant receives a consistent, engaging, and compliant learning experience. Working closely with the senior monitoring lead and the course administration team, you will oversee trainer performance, support quality assurance activity, and contribute to the ongoing development of course content and delivery methods. • Support the evaluation of additional local road safety initiatives where required.
  • Training Delivery
    • Deliver both online and in-venue courses when needed, including at short notice.
    • Apply coaching and facilitation techniques to maximise learner engagement and outcomes.
    • Maintain an active UKROEd trainer licence.
  • Administrative & Operational Coordination
    • Maintain accurate and compliant trainer records and documentation.
    • Communicate regularly with trainers regarding schedules, updates, and performance matters.
    • Produce reports, summaries, and data for internal reviews and external audits.
    • Work collaboratively with the wider Driver Improvement Team to ensure smooth operational delivery.
    • Identify and escalate risks relating to health & safety, service continuity, or compliance.
    • Manage your workload effectively to meet deadlines and priorities.
    • Carry out additional duties relevant to the role as required.

Essential Requirements

  • Current UKROEd Trainer Licence.
  • ADI qualification held for at least one year.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering driver training or coaching.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle under seven years old.
  • Confident using Zoom for online course delivery.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Desirable Requirements

  • Monitoring or assessor qualification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Strong time-management and planning skills.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and digital record-keeping tools.
  • Clear, professional communication skills.
