The predicted salary is between 33600 - 50400 £ per year.
We are currently seeking a Street Lighting Electrician to join our Highways Infrastructure clients.
Responsibilities:
- SWA electrical terminations into lighting column & feeder pillars.
- Installation of secondary isolators into lighting columns.
- Wiring & installing lanterns.
- Testing & inspecting on street furniture & the completion of test certificates.
- Conducting Electrical surveys.
- Cable pulling and cable jointing.
- Assisting within the operational logistics of driving vehicles.
- Liaising with clients & colleagues.
- Carrying out Risk Assessment prior to starting any work.
- Ensures all installations are completed to the correct standard, deadline & to budget.
- Completing relevant documentation, paperwork & raising on-site issues.
- Always wear correct PPE.
- Keep vehicle clean and tidy.
Requirements:
- Happy working outside in a physically demanding role.
- Working independently or part of a team.
- Electrical Operative experience (Street Furniture is advantageous).
- An excellent communicator.
- Able to work nights and working away from home.
- Participate in all training provided for your role.
- Committed to a high level of health & Safety as per company policies and procedures.
- CSCS/CPCS, ECS cards.
- G39 City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent in electrical installations.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Inspection & testing.
- IPAF.
