About the role:
This is a flexible, hands-on role helping to keep local car park machines running smoothly. You will visit nearby sites when something needs checking, resetting, or replacing. Most call-outs take 20-60 minutes to complete, and you will always have someone on the phone who can guide you if needed.
What you'll do:
- Visit local car parks when a machine needs attention
- Carry out simple checks, resets, and basic part replacements
- Test that everything is working again before you leave
- Pass anything more complicated to a senior engineer
- Keep short notes on what you did
- Be friendly and helpful when speaking to customers or staff on site
The equipment you'll work with:
- Ticket machines
- Payment terminals
- Barriers and entry/exit systems
- Simple software resets (full training provided)
You don't need experience with any of these - we'll show you everything you need to know.
