About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our clients team, providing high-quality HVAC maintenance services across Nottingham. This role involves a mix of scheduled preventive maintenance and reactive repairs, ensuring optimal performance of air conditioning and building services systems.
Key Responsibilities for Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer
- Conduct PPM servicing, fault-finding, and reactive repairs on air conditioning and HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and rectify hot/cold issues via BMS adjustments.
- Perform mechanical maintenance on belts, motors, valves, and related components.
- Carry out minor installation works and system upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with industry health and safety regulations while working at height, on roofs, steps, ladders, or MEWPs.
- Maintain accurate records using the CAFM system via iPad.
- Provide technical guidance to stakeholders regarding system performance and fault diagnostics.
Essential Qualifications & Skills required for Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer
- Proven experience in HVAC building maintenance.
- NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning or equivalent qualification.
- F-GAS 2079 CAT1 certification (mandatory).
- Ability to work efficiently in a mobile capacity across multiple sites.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
