Fibre Splicer est Midlands £35,000 + Van & additional pay Full Benefits Package (pension, fuel card, 25d holiday and opportunity to progress)!
We are currently seeking a number of Fibre Splicers to work on behalf of our Client, a major Fibre and Civil Engineering Contractor.
Responsibilities for Fibre Splicer Splicing and testing of external optical fibres to the end customer premise in line with quality standards using OTDR /ILM/PMD/CD/EXFO FTB200 or similar.
Live network Fusion splicing Installation of optical fibre cable, bundles and blown fibre tubing using fibre blowing equipment to required standards, including fault finding on existing network.
Production of Fibre characterisation reports.
Supporting company and client engineers to connect Residential and Business customers.
Working as an individual and as a part of team to achieve targets and KPIs.
Adherence with Health and Safety legislation Working at heights (2ooft) Requirements for Fibre Splicer Full UK Driving NRSWA street works Operative Happy travel and staying away Hold or have held Openreach overhead, underground or fibre accreditation modules. (theyre flexible on accreditation as theyre happy to put you through any accreditation you require)!
