In this vital role, you will help maintain the quality, consistency, and compliance of an expanding team of nearly 100 trainers delivering NDORS (National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme) educational interventions. This position blends your expertise in driver coaching and training delivery with monitoring and administrative coordination, ensuring high-quality courses.
Key Responsibilities for Driver Improvement Trainer Co-ordinator
- Trainer Monitoring & Support: Monitor performance across all courses, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure top-tier delivery standards and compliance.
- Training Delivery: Maintain and utilise your UKROEd licence to deliver courses both online via digital platforms and in-person at venues, occasionally at short notice.
- Administrative Coordination: Maintain trainer records, manage compliance management data, compile reports for internal reviews or external audits, and coordinate scheduling.
- Course Development & Collaboration: Liaise with business directors and external organisations regarding road safety, helping to develop relevant, engaging, and compliant new courses.
- Risk & Workload Management: Take responsibility for identifying operational risks (including Health & Safety) while managing your own time to meet strict deadlines.
Requirements for Driver Improvement Trainer Co-ordinator
Essential:
- An ADI Licence, held for a minimum of 1 year.
- Proven experience as a driver trainer or coach.
- A full UK Driving Licence and use of your own vehicle (under 7 years old) for travel across Essex, Southend, and Thurrock.
- Proficiency in using Zoom for online course delivery.
- Strong administrative, organisational, and time-management skills.
Desirable:
- A valid UKROEd Trainer Licence.
- A recognized Monitoring Qualification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
