We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Utility Surveyor to join our clients growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in Civil Engineering, Construction, Utilities, Infrastructure, or Surveying who is looking to build a long-term career within the industry. No previous utility surveying experience is required. We will provide on-the-job training, mentoring, and support to help you develop the technical skills, industry knowledge, and professional certifications required to become a successful Utility Surveyor.
Working alongside experienced surveyors, you will assist with underground utility mapping and surveying projects across a variety of construction and infrastructure sectors throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Support senior surveyors and gradually take responsibility for surveying activities.
- Assist with utility surveys on a variety of sites across the UK.
- Learn how to locate and map underground utilities using specialist surveying equipment.
- Assist with the collection, recording, and reporting of survey data.
- Support the production of survey reports, drawings, and client deliverables.
- Follow client specifications and industry standards under supervision.
- Work closely with survey teams to ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with the management and maintenance of survey equipment and vehicles.
- Follow Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and all company Health and Safety procedures.
