Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Our client is a well-established and growing provider of highways and infrastructure services, and they are currently seeking two Street Lighting Operatives to join their team in Milton Keynes on a permanent basis.

The Role
As a Street Lighting Operative, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of street lighting assets, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and maintenance of street lighting equipment.
- Fault finding and repair of street lighting systems.
- Replacement of columns, lanterns, signs, and associated assets.
- Working on highway projects in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Completing work records and reports accurately.
- Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety requirements.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience within street lighting, highways, utilities, or electrical infrastructure environments.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong commitment to safe working practices.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
The ideal candidate will hold one or more of the following:
- HGV Licence
- NRSWA (Street Works) Accreditation
- HIAB Certification
- G39 Authorisation
- IPAF/MEWP Certification
- ECS or CSCS Card
- Relevant electrical qualifications
