About the Electrical QS role:

  • You’ll take a key supervisory position within a well-established electrical services provider, overseeing engineers across London and the Southeast while working closely with the Hertfordshire head office.
  • This is a hands-on, people-focused role where your technical knowledge and leadership will directly shape the performance and development of the wider team.
  • You’ll carry out site visits, sign off certification, deliver toolbox talks, support engineers with technical queries, and ensure all works meet safety, compliance, and quality standards.
  • You’ll also play a major part in continuous improvement, training, and maintaining a strong safety culture.

What you’ll do as an Electrical QS:

  • Lead, mentor and support Site Supervisors, Engineers and Improvers.
  • Carry out onsite supervision visits and post-inspection reviews.
  • Ensure all works meet regulations, safety standards and company procedures.
  • Deliver toolbox talks, technical updates and team briefings.
  • Complete electrical testing, inspection, installation and maintenance when required.
  • Review and sign off certification, working closely with QAs.
  • Prepare quotations, variations and order materials.
  • Monitor WIPs to ensure timely completion.
  • Support incident investigations and escalation processes.
  • Maintain your own CPD and ensure your team's is up to date.
  • Contribute to business improvement and KPI-driven initiatives.

What you’ll need:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (or equivalent).
  • NVQ Level 3 + AM2 City & Guilds 2391-52 BS767118th Edition.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or qualified supervisor role.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
