Electrical Assessor £45,000 Hybrid (3 Days Work From Home) Permanent – Full-time (40 hours per week) Role Overview – Electrical Assessor A well-established electrical services provider is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Electrical Assessor to join their Quality Assurance team. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from home three days a week, with two days spent at the company’s head office. You’ll be responsible for reviewing electrical certification and reports for domestic and small commercial installations, ensuring compliance with BS 7671 and internal standards. You’ll assess documentation against engineer notes and photographic evidence, helping maintain high standards of safety and quality. Key Responsibilities for Electrical Assessor Review Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), Electrical Installation Certificates, Minor Works Certificates, and Fire Alarm Certificates Ensure all certifications meet BS 7671 and internal quality benchmarks Cross-reference engineer notes and images to verify accuracy and compliance Submit building control notifications Liaise with engineers and Qualified Supervisors to resolve discrepancies Maintain high standards of documentation and safety compliance Support ad-hoc duties to enhance customer experienceKPIs for Electrical Assessor Accuracy & Quality: Ensure certifications are complete, correct, and compliant Productivity: Meet daily review targets while maintaining precisionWhat You’ll Bring Strong understanding of electrical regulations and building standards Experience in test and inspection processes Proven ability to review and assess electrical certification Excellent IT, communication, and organisational skills A collaborative, team-first attitudeRequired Qualifications City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) City & Guilds 2382-18 (or equivalent)Benefits £45,000 annual salary Pension contribution Private healthcare contribution Employee assistance program Increasing holiday allowance with service Supportive sick pay policies Flexible, people-first working culture Training and development opportunities Regular team socials and events All necessary test equipment and PPE providedIf you are interested in this role, wish to apply, or have any questions, then please send a copy of your cv.
