Growing highways & street-furniture team is looking for a motivated Operative to support the Lead Operative. This is an excellent opportunity for someone hungry to learn, develop and progress within a specialist installation and maintenance environment.

You will work alongside an experienced Lead Operative on the installation, removal and maintenance of street furniture, street lighting and highway technology assets across Sussex. The Operative role suits someone physically capable, reliable, and keen to build long-term skills in highways operations. No specific experience is required, just a hunger to learn - is the main priority with essential requirements listed below.

  • Lives within Copthorne, West Sussex, or locally
  • Full UK Driving License

Desirable Requirements for Operative:

  • Experience in highways, civils, street furniture or similar outdoor work
  • IPAF certificate
  • Slinger/Signaller certificate
