About the Electrical QS role:
- You’ll take a key supervisory position within a well-established electrical services provider, overseeing engineers across London and the Southeast while working closely with the Hertfordshire head office.
- This is a hands-on, people-focused role where your technical knowledge and leadership will directly shape the performance and development of the wider team.
- You’ll carry out site visits, sign off certification, deliver toolbox talks, support engineers with technical queries, and ensure all works meet safety, compliance, and quality standards.
- You’ll also play a major part in continuous improvement, training, and maintaining a strong safety culture.
What you’ll do as an Electrical QS:
- Lead, mentor and support Site Supervisors, Engineers and Improvers.
- Carry out onsite supervision visits and post-inspection reviews.
- Ensure all works meet regulations, safety standards and company procedures.
- Deliver toolbox talks, technical updates and team briefings.
- Complete electrical testing, inspection, installation and maintenance when required.
- Review and sign off certification, working closely with QAs.
- Prepare quotations, variations and order materials.
- Monitor WIPs to ensure timely completion.
- Support incident investigations and escalation processes.
- Maintain your own CPD and ensure your team's is up to date.
- Contribute to business improvement and KPI-driven initiatives.
What you’ll need:
- Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (or equivalent).
- NVQ Level 3 + AM2 City & Guilds 2391-52 BS767118th Edition.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or qualified supervisor role.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
