We are currently seeking a Civils Supervisor to join our Engineering Clients. The role will be covering Southeast London and the surrounding areas and comes with a salary of £42,000.
Responsibilities for Civils Supervisor:
- Conduct pre-site surveys and risk assessments to assess feasibility, ensuring necessary adjustments are communicated to the Project Manager.
- Identify permit requirements and provide timely information to secure necessary approvals.
- Engage with clients, end users, and the public to communicate upcoming works and minimize disruptions.
- Review site plans and documentation, ensuring essential materials such as utility stats and engineering drawings are readily available.
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring the right personnel, equipment, and protective gear are in place while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide timely updates on deferrals from estimates (DFEs) to the Project Manager and ensure correct processes are followed for approvals.
- Manage material and plant orders efficiently to meet key project milestones.
- Conduct regular toolbox talks, audits, and compliance checks.
- Continuously review on-site risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with site documentation processes, ensuring proper records and photographic evidence.
- Maintain positive relationships with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and professionalism.
- Ensure all personnel adhere to health & safety standards, including correct PPE usage and risk management protocols.
Requirements for Civils Supervisor:
