HR Business Partner / HR Manager Cambridge £50,000 - £60,000 doe + Full Benefits Package Professional Summary Strategic HR Business Partner/HR Manager with responsibility for supporting a workforce of over 200 employees and more than 1,000 subcontractors across multiple UK locations.

Experienced in leading complex employee relations matters, organisational change programmes, workforce planning, policy development, recruitment, and HR strategy.

Trusted advisor to executive leadership teams and board-level stakeholders, with a proven track record of delivering commercial HR solutions that support organisational performance, compliance, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities Employee Relations * Lead complex employee relations matters, acting as the escalation point for managers and senior leaders. * Manage a wide range of cases including: o Settlement agreements o Absence management o Disciplinary and grievance processes o Bullying and harassment investigations o Substance misuse cases o Health and safety breaches * Conduct meetings with employees, legal representatives, and senior stakeholders to achieve effective resolutions. * Manage all ACAS Early Conciliation matters, securing the best possible outcomes for the business while mitigating legal and financial risk.

  • Leadership and Team Management
  • Manage and develop HR team members through regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews, coaching, and objective setting.
  • Support employee wellbeing and professional development within the HR function.
