We\’re seeking an experienced and qualified Approved Electrician to support peak compliance works across educational, industrial, and utility sites in Southern Scotland. This role is field-based with daily travel from a central depot near Motherwell.
Responsibilities for Approved Electrician
- Conduct electrical inspection and testing in line with BS7671 standards
- Perform emergency lighting and equipment testing
- Carry out remedial work based on inspection findings
- Work to predefined scopes and adhere to strict safety protocols
- Travel daily to client sites using company-provided van
Requirements for Approved Electrician
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
- 18th Edition (BS7671)
- AM2 or equivalent apprenticeship
- Basic DBS check (required)
- Valid ECS Card
- Experience working in commercial and industrial environments
- Self-sufficient with strong problem-solving skills
