An opportunity has become available for an experienced electrical testing professional to join a specialist compliance project operating across industrial and heavy engineering environments throughout the Midlands.
This assignment is ideally suited to an electrician with a strong background in statutory inspection, condition reporting and testing of low-voltage electrical installations within manufacturing, process, aggregates or similar sectors. The position will initially run for three months, with the possibility of extension depending on project requirements.
Working Pattern
- The role is primarily structured around night working, typically covering four shifts per week: Monday to Thursday 8:00pm to 6:00am
- Additional weekend shifts available during planned shutdown periods
- Regular overtime opportunities
- The majority of the work will be undertaken in Leicestershire, with occasional travel to other locations across the Midlands when operational requirements arise.
Main Duties
You will be responsible for carrying out periodic inspection of electrical installations and fixed-wire testing.
