The Opportunity
Looking for a role where no two days are the same, the teamwork is solid, and the career growth is real? We are looking for an experienced Highways Operative to join our close-knit, 2-to-3-person teams based out of Banwell. You’ll be the backbone of our local infrastructure, keeping our roads safe, smooth, and moving. From essential day-to-day repairs to being a vital part of our Winter Maintenance squad, this is a hands-on role with great variety and excellent earning potential.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Highways Operative
- Getting Hands-On: Delivering high-quality kerbing, hot cold lay patching, fencing, and signage installation.
- Keeping it Safe: Conducting daily risk assessments, pre-site checks, and ensuring our sites, vehicles, and equipment are safe and secure.
- On the Move: Traveling across the county to handle tarmac work.
