Job Description
- Collaborating within a close-knit team to complete street lighting & highway technology installations
- Following safety plans, risk assessments and method statements on site
- Interpreting site plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks
- Carrying out excavations, installations, and removals of lighting furniture
- Recording materials, vehicle usage and plant status to maintain work schedules
- Maintaining tools and machinery to operational safety standards
- Liaising with site supervisors to ensure smooth project delivery
What We’re Looking For as a HIAB Driver:We value experience in the street lighting industry and strong coordination skills. To hit the ground running, you’ll need:
- HGV Class 2 Licence (ESSENTIAL)
- HIAB Qualification (ALLMI preferred)
- Slinger / signaller ticket (preferred)
- Completion of NRSWA Units 1–9 (desirable)
- Training in Abrasive Wheels and First Aid (desirable)
