Salary: £41,700 – £43,000 (per annum)

UTea is an innovative and rapidly growing tea brand specialising in premium beverages made from fresh tea and fresh fruits, offering a healthier and more contemporary approach to bubble tea. As a newly established franchise in Deptford (incorporated in May 2025), UTea Deptford is committed to developing a strong presence within the local community and across digital channels. With unique product offerings — including our signature avocado series, fresh-fruit teas and seasonal launches — UTea aims to redefine the bubble tea experience in Southeast London.

Position Overview

The Marketing & Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in shaping UTea Deptford\’s brand identity, driving customer engagement, and supporting the store\’s commercial growth through both online and offline marketing initiatives. This is a hands-on position requiring creativity, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills. The successful candidate will oversee social media management, digital marketing, delivery platform visibility, content creation, customer engagement, and promotional activities. This role is ideal for someone passionate about food & beverage branding, storytelling and community-focused marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Social Media Management

· Develop and execute content strategies across Instagram, Facebook and emerging platforms such as TikTok.

· Produce high-quality visuals (photos, videos, reels) showcasing UTea\’s drink series, seasonal launches and in-store experiences.

· Maintain a consistent posting schedule with engaging captions, hashtags and brand-aligned storytelling.

· Monitor engagement metrics and use data insights to refine content and improve reach.

· Manage online customer interactions, replying to comments, messages and enquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Delivery Platform Management (Deliveroo, Just Eat, Uber Eats)

· Optimise UTea Deptford\’s presence on delivery platforms by updating photos, descriptions and menu structure.

· Create and manage promotional campaigns across platforms to increase conversion and brand visibility.

· Monitor customer feedback and performance analytics, adjusting strategies to improve ratings and order frequency.

· Ensure consistency in branding across all digital touchpoints.

Sales Promotion & Campaign Planning

· Plan and execute marketing campaigns for new product launches (e.g., avocado series), seasonal drinks and special offers.

· Design and implement digital loyalty programmes, customer incentives, referral rewards and review-generating activities.

· Analyse sales data to identify growth opportunities and improve product positioning.

· Collaborate with the store team to coordinate in-store promotions, sampling sessions and product demonstrations.

Community Engagement & Brand Building

· Build partnerships with local schools, universities, community groups and nearby businesses.

· Organise community-based marketing events, tasting sessions and collaborations with local creators.

· Strengthen the store\’s presence within the Deptford community through consistent engagement initiatives.

· Support the long-term development of UTea Deptford\’s brand identity and customer experience.

General Marketing & Administrative Duties

· Maintain compliance with brand guidelines as set by the UTea franchisor.

· Prepare marketing reports and performance summaries for management review.

· Assist with general shop-related tasks when needed during peak times.

· Work closely with the Store Manager to align marketing efforts with operational needs.

Requirements

  • Marketing experience, preferably in the food and beverage, retail, or hospitality sectors.

  • Proven ability to design and execute successful marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.

  • Strong copywriting, content creation, and social media management skills.

  • Excellent proficiency in English

  • Analytical mindset with experience using digital tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Canva, or similar).

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.

  • Understanding of Southeast London\’s local market and community is an advantage.
