We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our team to focus on our B2B Membership Sales - with a particular emphasis on the employee benefit market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving growth for our company. To be successful in this role, you will have excellent organisational and communication skills, and a passion and drive for achieving sales targets. Your mindset is strategic and you will have good analytical skills, as well as being both sales and customer-driven.

Key Tasks:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals and targets.
  • Identify and research potential clients and markets, including industry trends and competitor analysis.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients through regular communication and meetings.
  • Present our products/services to potential clients, effectively articulating the value proposition and addressing their needs.
  • Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to support client acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, contracts, and other documentation as needed.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, market trends, and best practices in business development.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation strategies, and business development best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
