The Sheffield UTC Academy Trust are currently looking to recruit a Vice Principal, to be based at the UTC Sheffield City Centre site
The VicePrincipal will work with the CEO Executive Principal, Principal, Governing Bodyand Trust Board to provide professional leadership, vision and direction forthe UTC. The Vice Principal will establish a culture that promotes excellence,equality and high expectations for all.
You willhave a central responsibility for the quality of the curriculum, quality oft eaching, learning and assessment and for students’ progress and educationalachievement. This involves setting high expectations and monitoring andevaluating the effectiveness of learning outcomes. A successful educationalculture will enable students to become effective, enthusiastic, independentlearners.
You willbe expected to work as a part of the senior leadership team to achieve TheSheffield UTC Academy Trust vision by delivering the highest standards andexpectations in teaching, learning, behaviour, leadership and fiscalmanagement.
You will be a highly skilled practitioner whounderstands the challenges of educating 13 -19-year-olds in an employer ledtechnology rich environment. Effectivepartnership working is absolutely critical to the UTC’s success.
