Location: UTC Plymouth, Park Avenue, Devonport, PL1 4RL
Annual Salary: £29,989 – £32,359
Contract Type: Permanent, full time (part time considered), term time only
Contract Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Role Summary
As an Engineering Demonstrator, you will support students in developing engineering skills, raising attainment, and preparing them for the world of work. You will deliver a child‑centred curriculum, create safe and engaging learning environments, and foster discipline and high aspirations.
Responsibilities
- Raise student attainment through engineering curriculum delivery.
- Support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
- Facilitate learning experiences that allow students to fulfil their potential.
- Develop and implement safe, purposeful, and stimulating learning environments.
- Establish a discipline framework using praise, sanctions, and rewards fairly.
- Collaborate with partner schools and local industry for real‑world opportunities.
