UTC Derby Pride Park is looking to recruit a suitably qualified teacher who can support the delivery of Health and Social Care and Human Biology. You will work alongside the staff team to further develop a centre of excellence focusing on Health & Social Care along with Human Biology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of a range of qualifications, utilising specialist knowledge in the relevant areas, including Level 2 Cambridge National in Health & Social Care at KS4, Level 3 AAQs in Medical Science, Health and Social Care and Applied Science, and A Level Biology.
  • Work to develop and maintain a technology‑rich learning environment for students aged 13‑19.
  • Collaborate closely with the Curriculum Director and staff to promote partnership working and drive forward the UTC’s success.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified to teach Health & Social Care and/or Human Biology.
  • Experience or willingness to develop in a technology‑rich, employer‑led education setting.
  • Newly qualified teachers with the skills and attributes to grow their expertise in a unique environment are welcome to apply.
