Overview
The Staff Assistant II will support the TRIO Upward Bound Program on the USU Eastern Campus in Price, Utah.
This assistance includes: monitoring and tracking the grant budgets, maintaining records to document compliance with grant objectives, tracking student contact time with grant personnel, planning and scheduling events and travel, ordering supplies, scheduling meetings, creating Excel and maintaining BLUMEN databases of student information, providing support for project reports and Annual Performance Reports (APR) to the Department of Education, taking and preparing minutes of staff meetings, and providing other clerical support as assigned.
Position is a Grant Funded position; continued employment is contingent on funding. (Continuing through 08/2027)

This position is primarily based in an office setting but requires occasional travel throughout Carbon, Emery, and Grand Counties to support program activities at local high schools. Physical demands may include lifting and transporting bins or boxes containing program supplies, typically weighing up to 30 pounds.
