Overview
USU Eastern is seeking a part-time A/V Tech to support audio and lighting needs during events in the Geary Theater and Event Center. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals with basic experience or interest in theater tech, live sound, or lighting systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist with running lights or sound boards during rehearsals, performances, or special events
- Follow directions from the Geary Supervisor and work collaboratively with other event staff
- Perform basic equipment checks
- Help maintain and organize equipment
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Some experience with theater tech (e.g., high school productions, community theater, A/V club, preferred)
- Able to learn new equipment and follow technical directions
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
