The Procurement Administrator will support the Procurement team as it manages a diverse range of direct and indirect categories. The role is focused on the execution of recurring tasks and data management to ensure the day-to-day functionality of the department. The primary objectives of the role are:
- Timely completion of recurring tasks (such as purchase order creation, spend approvals etc.).
- Management of department datasets and systems.
- Report extraction and basic data analysis.
This role is well-suited to someone who is well organised and methodical. Initiative, numeracy and IT literacy are highly beneficial.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Administrate purchase orders within ERP systems.
- Administrate approval flows in various spend and decision-making processes and systems.
- Manage ERP systems to ensure correct execution of baseline functions.
- Maintain supplier records for internal utilisation and external audit.
- Generate monthly procurement performance and spend reports.
- Proactively engage with colleagues across departments.
- Foster a culture of accountability and high personal performance in alignment with company values.
- Act in accordance with the behaviours for UTAC staff at all times.
Qualifications
- A-Level or equivalent in appropriate subject/s.
- University degree desirable but not essential.
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Highly organised and thorough approach to tasks.
- Comfort with ERP systems or similar.
- Basic data management experience or demonstrable capability.
- Numeracy and analytical capability.
- Demonstrable familiarity with MS Excel, Outlook, Forms, Sharepoint.
- Demonstrable commercial awareness.
- Desire to drive efficiency and organisation.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP platforms.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
