Location: London

Reporting to the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, this role is responsible for driving external corporate communications across RVU and its group businesses, with an initial focus on Uswitch’s energy division.

Corporate PR

What you’ll be doing:

  • Elevate RVU’s largest brands, particularly Uswitch Energy and Confused.com, within their industries to B2B stakeholders.
  • Support leaders in enhancing their profiles as thought leaders and speakers through content and editorial articles, using owned (e.g., LinkedIn) and earned (media) channels.
  • Develop a media program for corporate narratives in priority verticals, including trade and business press, leadership profiles, op-eds, and industry podcasts, in collaboration with consumer brand PR and vertical teams.
  • Promote key business moments (e.g., Energy Awards, Green Accreditation) to a B2B audience.
  • Monitor industry news and identify reactive opportunities.
  • Develop media materials (press releases, research), manage stakeholder approvals, and oversee distribution.
  • Build relationships with influential media, including setting up media meetings and providing media training.
  • Manage agency support and deliverables.
  • Ensure alignment with consumer brand-level PR teams.
Corporate messaging development and ongoing updates

Drive messaging development for corporate narratives across our brands and coordinate ongoing evolutions with RVU leadership. Secure sign-off for key messages and proof points with brands, commercial, and compliance teams. Roll out messaging across corporate channels, encourage senior leadership team advocacy, and develop content for RVU.co.uk.

External events

Support coordination of internal and external events to ensure delivery of RVU corporate messaging. Manage the corporate external events program, including identifying targets for RVU leaders in key industries. Secure speaking engagements and support on pitches based on aligned messaging. Recommend and manage asset creation (e.g., photography, biographies). Support senior leaders with briefings and speech/presentation development. Plan media and presentation training for leaders as needed.

What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in B2B and corporate communications.
  • Strong track record in profile building for corporate or executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow LinkedIn presence for businesses or leaders.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating corporate events.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing corporate website content.
  • Background in corporate communications within the energy sector (preferred).
