Position Summary: The Production Supervisor, located in West Chester, OH, oversees daily manufacturing operations for automotive components, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. This role leads a team of operators and technicians, coordinates workflow, monitors performance, and drives continuous improvement aligned with production goals, customer requirements, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Ensure production targets for safety, quality, delivery, and cost are consistently met. Supervise, schedule, and coordinate daily activities of production team members. Monitor production lines and equipment to identify and resolve bottlenecks or issues. Maintain accurate shift records (downtime, scrap, output, labor hours).
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce all OSHA, company, and industry safety rules. Conduct routine safety checks and ensure proper use of PPE. Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions. Support 5S, housekeeping, and safe work practices across the department.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet automotive OEM and Tier 1/Tier 2 specifications. Enforce adherence to quality procedures, control plans, and inspection standards. Partner with Quality team to resolve non‑conformance issues and drive defect reduction.
  • People Management: Train, coach, develop, and evaluate production employees. Provide regular feedback and conduct performance discussions. Manage attendance, timekeeping, and basic HR workflow (e.g., corrective actions). Promote teamwork, engagement, and positive work culture.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance on process improvements and equipment reliability.
