The best People Operations often go unnoticed. It's the new starter whose laptop is ready on day one. Payroll that runs smoothly. Managers who can find what they need without jumping through hoops. Systems that make work easier instead of more complicated. We're looking for a Senior People Operations Partner who loves making that happen.
About Ustwo
ustwo is an award-winning digital product studio with over 100 people across Europe and North America. For more than 20 years we've partnered with ambitious organisations to create digital products that are meaningful, beautiful and easy to use. We're also a certified B Corp, which means we're committed to balancing purpose with profit and creating an environment where people can do their best work.
What You'll Be Doing
- You'll lead the operational delivery of our global People function, creating the systems and processes that help everything run smoothly behind the scenes.
- You'll own our People Operations.
- You'll oversee the operational side of the entire employee journey; from onboarding through to offboarding, making sure every experience feels organised, consistent and people-first.
- You’ll coordinate payroll and benefits across multiple countries, work closely with Finance and external providers, and ensure our employment documentation and core People processes are accurate, compliant and well managed.
- You'll shape our People systems.
- You'll become the owner of our HR technology, with HiBob at the heart of it. From workflows and reporting to permissions, integrations and data quality, you'll make sure our systems are reliable, intuitive and continually evolving alongside the business.
- You’ll also be the person colleagues turn to when they need help getting the most from our People systems.
- You'll make good processes even better.
- We're not looking for someone who simply keeps things running. We're looking for someone who's always asking, "Could this be simpler?" You’ll identify opportunities to automate repetitive work, improve workflows, reduce manual administration and create better experiences for employees, managers and the wider People team.
- You'll enable great People programmes.
- Whether we're running performance reviews, compensation cycles, engagement surveys or learning initiatives, you'll provide the operational backbone that helps those programmes run smoothly.
- You’ll make sure the right systems, reporting and processes are in place so our Head of People and Principal People Partner can spend more time partnering with leaders and supporting our people.
About You
You love making things work better. You're naturally organised, curious and systems-minded. You enjoy creating order from complexity and get real satisfaction from improving the way things work.
You’ll Probably Bring
- Significant experience in People Operations, HR Systems Operations or a similar role.
- Strong experience working with HR systems such as HiBob, Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
- Experience coordinating payroll, benefits and external providers across multiple countries.
- Experience supporting People Operations in Portugal or working with Portuguese employment practices, payroll or benefits would be an advantage.
- A solid understanding of employee lifecycle processes and employment administration.
- Confidence in using people data and reporting to drive better decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail, balanced with a continuous improvement mindset.
- The ability to build trusted relationships across People, Finance and the wider business.
Most importantly, you'll enjoy solving problems, improving systems and making work feel simpler for everyone else. Experience in a technology, digital product or creative environment would be a bonus, but it's not essential.
Why ustwo?
You’ll join a collaborative global People team where operational excellence is genuinely valued. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how our People function evolves, influence the systems and processes we use every day and help create an employee experience that reflects the care we put into everything we build. We're proud to be a certified B Corp and an equal opportunity employer. We know that diverse teams create better products, stronger ideas and more meaningful experiences.
