We are an award‑winning digital product studio with 120 people in 4 different studios across the globe (London, Malmö, New York and Lisbon). For two decades we have been helping our clients grow by creating breakthrough experiences that have a positive impact on the world. Our work spans the entire product lifecycle – from shaping a bold vision and validating propositions, to designing and building products and services that have lasting impact. Human insight is at the heart of everything we do. Our collaborative culture, inclusive approach and commitment to craft have earned ustwo a reputation for creating digital experiences that people love and that help businesses thrive.

The role involves executing strong, well‑reasoned strategic work across client projects – translating ambiguity into clear recommendations and helping multi‑discipline teams move forward with confidence. You’ll synthesize research, inputs and insights into a clear, opinionated point of view – and contribute to moving design, product, and technology teams from exploration to execution. Your work will help create products and services that drive engagement, influence behaviour and make a genuine difference in people’s lives. You’ll also support ustwo’s broader growth – contributing to new business efforts where relevant, alongside the strategy and business development teams.

About you: You’re someone who can cut through complexity, identify what matters, and form a clear stance. You build confidence through well‑substantiated points of view, decisive recommendations and strong storytelling. You are equally comfortable contributing to long‑term vision or helping teams and clients navigate day‑to‑day decisions. Above all, you’re motivated by helping teams and clients create digital products and services that truly matter. As Senior Strategist, you’ll bring clarity and rigor to multi‑faceted challenges – helping teams and clients make confident decisions that create real value for people and businesses.

How you work: You form clear, defensible points of view in hours, not days. You are comfortable making directional recommendations with imperfect information. You actively move teams from exploration to decision. You balance assertiveness with adaptability – strong opinions, loosely held. You incorporate AI into your workflows, from research to analysis to collaboration.

In this role you will:

  • Contribute to the strategic vision for projects and communicate a clear, compelling narrative that connects user needs, business goals and market opportunities.
  • Identify growth opportunities within projects and contribute to discussions on business design, commercial models and organisational implications.
  • Conduct targeted research and rapidly translate insights into a clear, actionable point of view that drives decisions.
  • Synthesise insight into direction, providing teams with a confident, opinionated POV that accelerates decision‑making while balancing ambition, feasibility and impact.
  • Engage with client stakeholders to understand objectives, contribute to defining success metrics, and support the team in steering projects to meaningful outcomes.
  • Spot risks early and work with teams to find pragmatic ways forward.
  • Facilitate workshops that drive alignment toward a clear direction, using collaboration to converge on outcome‑aligned opportunity areas and solutions.
  • Collaborate with product designers, technologists and delivery leads to turn strategic thinking into tangible products and services.
  • Contribute to go‑to‑market and growth strategies – supporting early validation through to launch and scale.
  • Support new business efforts by contributing to proposals and pitches with clear strategic thinking that demonstrates ustwo’s value.

This role may not be a fit if you:

  • Prefer extended research phases before forming a point of view.
  • Default to facilitation over direction‑setting.
  • Feel ambivalent towards AI and AI‑enabled work.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have solid experience in digital product or experience strategy – ideally in a digital agency or consultancy environment.
  • Have shaped strategies and experiences that drive engagement and meaningful behaviour change.
  • Balance analytical rigor with creativity and empathy for users.
  • Are an excellent communicator and storyteller, able to engage internal teams and client stakeholders with clarity and conviction.
  • Can work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, contributing clear strategic inputs and maintaining momentum through the project.
  • Are comfortable working in ambiguity and taking a position before all the answers are known – moving forward with clarity rather than waiting for certainty.
  • Have the curiosity to challenge assumptions and the optimism to find better ways forward.
  • Embody ustwo’s values: be human, learn together, use the freedom, raise the bar and enjoy the journey.

Salary range: The salary for this full‑time role is circa £60,000. The actual salary amount will depend on the candidate's experience, skillset, market knowledge, and the salaries of current employees in similar roles. We benchmark our salaries regularly against competitive market data, so these ranges are subject to change.
