ustwo is looking for an experienced Principal-level Client Partner to provide short-term cover across a portfolio of established client relationships. This role is ideal for someone who can quickly build trust with senior stakeholders, maintain momentum across active engagements, identify growth opportunities, and ensure continuity for clients and internal teams. You'll be responsible for maintaining account health, supporting active commercial conversations, and ensuring clients continue to experience ustwo as a trusted strategic partner. As part of our global Client Partner community, you'll work closely with colleagues across regions to support opportunities, share knowledge, and ensure a seamless client experience.

About you

  • Significant experience in client services, account management, business development, or digital consultancy, with a proven track record of managing and growing strategic client relationships.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing account performance, revenue forecasting, and opportunity development.
  • Comfortable stepping into established client environments and quickly building credibility with senior stakeholders.
  • Experienced in shaping opportunities within complex and evolving contexts.
  • Skilled communicator, facilitator, and negotiator with excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience working with organisations building digital products, services, or technology-led experiences.
  • Familiarity with commercial performance and pipeline management tools such as Pipedrive and CRC reporting.
  • Experience working within or alongside industries such as Healthcare, Finance, Energy, Education, or Media.
  • Able to work independently, prioritise effectively, and deliver impact within a short-term engagement.
  • Able to rapidly understand client contexts, build relationships quickly, and deliver impact with minimal onboarding.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships across a portfolio of key client accounts, ensuring engagements remain built on trust, transparency, and measurable value.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for clients, providing strategic guidance and responsive partnership throughout the engagement.
  • Identify and progress opportunities to extend existing engagements or shape future work aligned with client needs and ustwo's capabilities.
  • Partner with Delivery, Strategy, Technology, Product, and Design leads to support ongoing work and develop commercially viable proposals where appropriate.
  • Monitor account health, commercial performance, and forecasting, ensuring risks and opportunities are identified and managed proactively.
  • Support active business development conversations, helping qualify, shape, and progress opportunities.
  • Navigate complex stakeholder environments and facilitate alignment between client priorities and delivery teams.
  • Contribute to account planning activities and ensure clear documentation, handovers, and continuity across client engagements.
  • Collaborate closely with the global Client Partner team to ensure consistency of approach and effective knowledge sharing across regions.

  • Location: This is a hybrid role based out of our London studio, with the expectation that you'll spend 2 days per week working in person.
  • Contract details: Freelance / Independent Contractor engagement.
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: 10–12 weeks.
