Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our Structural Technologies Department at our Slough and Langley campus on a full time, term time only basis.
Job Details
- Work schedule: 37 hours per week over 37 term‑time weeks per year.
- Salary: pro‑rata G17 £21,166.19 up to G19 £22,662.10 (FTE G17 £25,483 to G19 £27,284).
Responsibilities
- Support whole classes, small groups, or individual students in accordance with college policies and individual EHCPs.
- Assist with the planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities.
- Help students overcome physical, emotional, or learning boundaries.
- Assist with assignments, exam preparation, and the development of English, mathematics, and ICT skills.
- Monitor student behaviour, maintain confidential records, adapt learning materials, and support the use of specialist equipment.
- Provide physical support for mobility‑impaired students.
- Adhere to the college's policies on Risk Management, Diversity and Equality, Health and Safety, Data Protection, and Safeguarding.
Qualifications & Experience
- Level 2 qualifications (GCSE grade A‑C or equivalent) in both English and Mathematics.
- Experience working with young adults, preferably in an educational setting.
- Experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Dyspraxia is desirable.
- Positive attitude, strong organisational skills, proactive approach, and flexibility to work across various departments.
- Proficiency in basic ICT and willingness to develop further skills.

- Successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS and Barred List check, and other legally required checks.
