The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM & Compensation Architect to join our growing global Workday Practice. This senior role offers the opportunity to lead and support client engagements across both initial deployments and AMS/production support, while helping shape the strategic direction of the practice.
You will act as a trusted advisor to our clients, leveraging your deep expertise in Workday HCM and Compensation to provide guidance on job architecture, compensation frameworks, and overall HCM solution design. You’ll also have the opportunity, to take on leadership responsibilities and contribute to practice development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead clients through all stages of the Workday lifecycle—from discovery and design to testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Provide strategic advisory across HCM topics, including job catalog design, compensation leveling, and optimization initiatives.
- Leverage expertise in Workday HCM and Compensation modules to configure solutions and support clients in real-time.
- Manage workstreams and guide project delivery against scope, timeline, and budget expectations.
- Engage stakeholders with strong communication and consulting skills to drive decisions and solution alignment.
- Actively contribute to the growth of the UST Workday Practice, with the potential to take on a product lead role and manage direct reports.
- Collaborate with global and offshore teams to ensure delivery quality and knowledge sharing.
- May work occasionally at client sites; travel up to 30%.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum of 4–5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM and Compensation implementation and support experience.
- Workday certifications in Core HCM and Compensation (highly preferred).
- Strong consultative skills and a proven ability to influence and lead client conversations toward successful outcomes.
- Deep understanding of Workday business processes, configuration, and operational frameworks.
- Experience managing complex solutions across multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
- Ability to share insights and lessons learned from past Workday client engagements.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments and adapting to change.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivery excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Experience working with offshore or global delivery teams (a plus).
