Lead Product Owner
UST are seeking a Lead Product Owner to work with one of our retail clients, you will have experience working with Mobile Application to work on a mobile ecosystem.

About the role
The successful candidate will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for our customer-facing mobile applications (iOS and Android). You will be responsible for executing a world-class mobile strategy that delivers measurable business value and a seamless, high-performing experience for millions of customers.
You will guide a dedicated cross-functional team and act as the subject matter expert, balancing commercial goals with technical feasibility.
Key deliverables
Stakeholder Alignment and Communication:
Proactively engage and manage a diverse group of senior internal stakeholders to capture business needs, manage expectations, and effectively communicate the product initiatives, alongside associated risks.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Establish and track core Mobile App performance, product health and KPIs (e.g., conversion, retention, crash-free sessions) and use in-depth analytical insights and customer feedback to validate hypotheses and inform all product decisions.
Empowering the Team:
Lead daily product efforts, guiding the development team (Developers, QA, BAs) through Agile/SCRUM ceremonies and ensuring clarity in requirements, ultimately serving as the key driver for team progress and motivation.
What you will bring
- Hands-on experience of product ownership within retail, having worked in the digital / ecommerce sector.
- Thought leader in digital space, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Can quickly and accurately identify any issues or risks associated with a project as well as implementing a solution.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences.
- A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change.
- Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach to defining success supported by analytical data.
- Experience of working in Agile environments and working with Agile / SCRUM methodologies.
- Highly motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude, who is able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Google for business / Microsoft Office proficient.
Desired but not essential:
- Experience using Agile tools such as ADO, JIRA or similar
- Experience with mobile app technologies
