We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Architect to lead the design, development, and optimisation of enterprise‑scale eCommerce solutions. This is a strategic, hands‑on role where you will shape technical direction, drive best practices, and deliver high‑performing, customer‑centric digital commerce experiences. You will work in close partnership with UX, Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and future‑ready Commerce Cloud solutions.
The Role:
- Lead the architecture and delivery of Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementations across complex eCommerce landscapes.
- Design and build scalable storefront solutions using SFRA and headless / PWA architectures.
- Oversee core commerce capabilities including catalog management, pricing, promotions, and search configuration.
- Design and optimise checkout journeys, payment integrations, and tax solutions to maximise conversion and reliability.
- Drive performance optimisation, SEO best practices, and user experience enhancements across digital channels.
- Integrate Commerce Cloud with OMS, CRM, and third‑party platforms via APIs and middleware.
- Own technical governance, leading code reviews, development standards, and security compliance.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues, ensuring platform stability, resilience, and high availability.
- Collaborate closely with UX, Product, and Business teams to deliver customer‑first outcomes.
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices in Commerce Cloud development and architecture.
