We are looking for an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead and orchestrate Agile Release Trains (ARTs) within a large-scale enterprise environment. This is a pivotal delivery leadership role where you will drive alignment, execution, and continuous improvement across multiple Agile teams.
You will work at the heart of complex transformation programmes, enabling teams to deliver high-quality outcomes through effective planning, coordination, and Agile best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate and manage Agile Release Train (ART) execution in line with SAFe methodologies
- Lead key ceremonies including Program Increment (PI) Planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines to ensure successful programme execution
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to align on objectives and outcomes
- Drive Agile transformation initiatives, coaching Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams on best practices
- Track and report on programme metrics, including velocity, risks, dependencies, and release readiness
- Facilitate risk management, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives across the ART
- Ensure alignment with governance, compliance, and enterprise delivery frameworks
- Support release management processes and enable seamless integration with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Extensive experience leading Agile Release Trains (ARTs) in enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in SAFe Agile methodologies and large-scale Agile delivery
- Proven capability in driving Agile transformation and coaching teams at scale
- Experience delivering complex programmes across cloud, data, or digital transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and enterprise delivery governance
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills
- Ability to lead through influence, manage conflict, and drive cross-functional collaboration
